I'm sure there is a setting somewhere that I need to tweak, but I haven't been able to find it. When I import them (only 1.5 gig this first time), the images are being moved from their original folders and organized by date in iPhoto. I am importing 500 gig of photos which have been obsessively organized on my pc. I have searched on-line and in forums, but I can't find the answer to my problem.
